Student Adventure on an Island of Volcanic Origin
Jeju Island (제주도) is the tastiest, juiciest, southernmost province of South Korea. The island is famous for its delicious mandarins, which ripen here all year round.

In April 4, 2017, I went to Korea to study. From Astana I flew from Air Astana @airastana to Incheon further to Jeju with T`way Air @t`way.
The flight from Seoul to Jeju takes about 1 hour.
I finally reached my destination. Jeju Island met me on a sunny day, almost one 100 % humidity.
Jeju has a well-developed bus service. You can get on the bus to almost any corner, including immediately from the airport. There are bus terminals in Jeju Si (제주시)and Seogwipo (서귀포시), between which there are buses, as well as from there to different parts of the island.
I got on the bus and headed for the hostel of our university.
slide next photoSo it all began. Then We began to study from Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday we did not study. Every Saturday we went for shopping and for a coffee shop, siktang (식당)
Sunday we went to the beach , around there prepared homework or just found a cozy place and chatted with parents, friends on Skype.
You can go to a museum, an aquarium, go to a tea plantation or visit one of the theme parks. Be sure to go to the love park, the glass park, the Kimneng labyrinth park and the chocolate museum.
I once traveled to Jeju Kimnyoung Maze Park. Maze Land is a themed park boasting the world’s longest stone maze, measuring roughly 5.3km in total length. The Maze Land is also a filming spot for the Korean drama called "Legend of the Blue Sea" starting Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho and the popular SBS variety show called "Running Man"
But couldn’t visit Hallasan Mountain(한라산). Next time I will definitely visit the beauty of Jeju Island.
