I`m a Kazakh student who studied in Korea and want to continue the story of my trip to Korea. By the way, this dress is a Kazakh traditional costume. Really beautiful huh? Well, let's continue ...
Jeju Island is the largest island and smallest province in South Korea. “The island of three abundance”, “Mandarin island”, “Pearl of South Korea”. There are many islands in Jeju. One of them is Udo (우도). Udo is easily accessible by ferry from Jeju. Every hour there is a ferry to Udo. Very important lifehacks : for girls better wear comfortable shoes and jeans and take cash by yourself. Not everywhere you can pay with a card. Well, we arrived on the island. Arriving on the island, you can rent a convenient vehicle. Agencies offer for hire a variety of options to choose from: bicycles, scooters, electric scooters, electric cars, electric bicycles and more for every other.

We were 3 students and we chose special buses that every 15 minutes on a circular road clockwise and counterclockwise. Pay 5000 won (that time) and get an all-day pass. Buses stop at interesting places, get out, walk for as long as necessary and catch the next bus to another point - very convenient! Udo Island Attractions The main attractions of Udo include two main beaches (Hongjodangoe Beach / 홍조 단괴 해변 the first with coral sand on the west coast and Hagosudong Beach / 하고 수동 해수욕장 on the east coast and Dongangyoeng cave / 동안 경굴, Geommeolle beach next to the black volcanic cliffs). But in general, the nature here is amazing.
There are many cofee shops and small restaurants. From far away you can see tourists and henyo (해녀) - these are professional divers who set monuments here. #UNESCO has included the centuries-old tradition of divers from Jeju Island on the list of intangible cultural heritage.
